Could the visitor from Nokia, Finland, who looks at my blog at least once a day, kindly tell me who s/he is? I’m not sure if you are from Nokia or just use a Nokia IP connection – but I’m curious to know who you are, especially since I hate the way my current Nokia phone behaves.
Perhaps you could help 🙂
In additional news, Julia Scissor has very graciously given me a blog award. Even though it is an outdated 2008 one, it means a lot since the scumbags on my blogroll have never give me any award. Now the tricky part about getting this blog award is that I am supposed to practice the good old adage of ‘give and take’ and am thus forced to give this award to seven other blogs that are supposedly brilliant (that’s a toughie since very few blogs are as brilliant as mine). In any case, you are most welcome to post an oscar-speech comment if you get an award.
  1. Penny for my thoughts gets the award for being crazy as hell! Princess Fiona is truly a riot and mental in every way. I am fully in like with her blog.
  • Geek and Poke: If you, like me, like to be a geek and poke fun at the world – this is a page you HAVE to visit. Extra fun guaranteed if you like comics and caricatures.
  • Aunty Helpful Dictator Strikes Back cos she is an aunty (not an aunty-ji) who hates Kill Bill and is not afraid to call a spade a crummy gardening tool. And since she is a dictator I’m playing it safe and giving her this award. Though I’m sure it makes no difference to her – I mean dictators don’t need others to tell them they’re good, do they?
  • The Astonishing Adventures of Lord Likely cos reading his blog makes me go ooh and ah in many, many ways. Lord Likely also champions the cause of good-health as he indulges in physical activity at least once in a few hours. If any blog is more briliant than mine, it is definitely this one.
  • Enroute Cemetery because Pappu can’t dance and software engineers can write! The brilliance of this blog is not restricted to language alone, but to the presentation of the layers of life, shrouded in shades of mystery. Ok I give up! I can’t write like him!

The blogger formerly known as trauma queen

yupp – I have finally arrived.

A whole new me, a whole new world…

Nah – just a brand new template (that plays music) , and a new blogger name – but the stuff is just as before 😉

Let’s just say I got a bit irritated with people taking my previous blogger name a bit too seriously. Truth is, the word “trauma” was a highly over-rated and over-used one when I was a student. That’s all! And to think of the number of people who have posted realllly mean comments just cos they didn’t like my blogger name 😡

Anyway – student life ended quite sometime back – plus I get bored of using the same name for too long (I started with calling myself tvnmcb – which expands to ‘the very naughty miss c.b’- a nickname a very naughty professor gave me :P)

In any case – my new blogger name seems a lot less mysterious/loaded than the previous names – plus it’s very me.

Hope all the doubts/questions/etc etc have finally been clarified.

Ab ke liye – masti timepass maja madi 🙂

New name is wanting

If Trauma Queen had to change her name…what name would you recommend?

yeah yeah – here is where u can get absolutely nasty and super-mean 😛

W Day Special

Hey guys,

This is about a blogathon being organised by the Blank Noise Project, an initiative I am currently involved in. The Blank Noise Project is a campaign (active in Bangalore, mobilizing slowly in Mumbai and Delhi) that is trying to fight against eve-teasing. For more information, please click on the blog link ‘What Women Want’.

The Blogathon:

To recognize Women’s Day, we’re organizing a blogathon for Tuesday, the 7th of March. Blank Noise is asking other bloggers to post about their experiences of sexual harassment – as a victim, perpetrator or bystander – at work, at home or in the public sphere. On International Women’s Day, which is March 8th, it would be exciting to see the theme of harassment become audible on the Indian blogosphere. If just you guys got on board, I think it would spread like wildfire.

If you want to participate, email blurtblanknoise@gmail.com to let us know – then on March 7th, we’ll link to all the participating bloggers from the Blank Noise homepage, and hopefully it will be an archive that will help us understand and stay angry about harassment. For the time being, it would be great if participants posted on their blogs in anticipation, to spread the word. Spread the word in other ways, too.

BNP’s target audience isn’t really the blogging community, but the Mumbai and Delhi arm of the campaign is a young one and this will be a encouraging step, whether effective or just symbolic, towards interventions closer to the street.

Do participate…whether you’re a guy or a girl

No more tvnmcb
From now on, I am the Trauma Queen
