Could the visitor from Nokia, Finland, who looks at my blog at least once a day, kindly tell me who s/he is? I’m not sure if you are from Nokia or just use a Nokia IP connection – but I’m curious to know who you are, especially since I hate the way my current Nokia phone behaves.
Perhaps you could help πŸ™‚
In additional news, Julia Scissor has very graciously given me a blog award. Even though it is an outdated 2008 one, it means a lot since the scumbags on my blogroll have never give me any award. Now the tricky part about getting this blog award is that I am supposed to practice the good old adage of ‘give and take’ and am thus forced to give this award to seven other blogs that are supposedly brilliant (that’s a toughie since very few blogs are as brilliant as mine). In any case, you are most welcome to post an oscar-speech comment if you get an award.
  1. Penny for my thoughts gets the award for being crazy as hell! Princess Fiona is truly a riot and mental in every way. I am fully in like with her blog.
  • Geek and Poke: If you, like me, like to be a geek and poke fun at the world – this is a page you HAVE to visit. Extra fun guaranteed if you like comics and caricatures.
  • Aunty Helpful Dictator Strikes Back cos she is an aunty (not an aunty-ji) who hates Kill Bill and is not afraid to call a spade a crummy gardening tool. And since she is a dictator I’m playing it safe and giving her this award. Though I’m sure it makes no difference to her – I mean dictators don’t need others to tell them they’re good, do they?
  • The Astonishing Adventures of Lord Likely cos reading his blog makes me go ooh and ah in many, many ways. Lord Likely also champions the cause of good-health as he indulges in physical activity at least once in a few hours. If any blog is more briliant than mine, it is definitely this one.
  • Enroute Cemetery because Pappu can’t dance and software engineers can write! The brilliance of this blog is not restricted to language alone, but to the presentation of the layers of life, shrouded in shades of mystery. Ok I give up! I can’t write like him!

It pays to be traumatic

The World Blog Council (a bunch of drunken old chaps who review blogs for free) decided, after a few shots of brandy, to review my wonderful and ever-so-traumatic blog; and, despite being stupefied with the Beastie Boys playing alongside, decided to, nevertheless, give me a SPLENDID rating πŸ™‚

the author certificate

Thank you Colonel Fotherington-Blogworthy and Ms A. Tutt!

I shall, along with Lord Likely, join you for a night of quaffing and merry-making, to celebrate this achievement. Do excuse me, however, as I shall prefer to come in a ‘ghastly’ new-wave skirt and pink hair-highlights, which might dazzle your ocular cavities (since I have done enough damage to your aural and other orifices.) You must acknowledge that I truly live upto my reputation as a trauma queen, by inflicting auditory, visual, mental and comical trauma on my readers.

We could even play a game or two of table-tennis. It is much more fun than tennis – as it involves a table and paddles. They most certainly come in handy if I get too mischievous.

And the Total Trauma award goes to….

Well well well…

It has been three years now – three whole years of people tolerating all the bullshit/pearls of wisdom/goofy spoofs on this blog….

There were moments of high seriousness, moments of complete boredom, moments of absolute unadultarated timepass…and chitty cat (former trauma queen/ former former tvnmcb) will continue to live up to the legend that is this blog (yes, I’m very modest)

The bad labelling shall continue, the pathetic attempts to be nightmarish and funny shall continue, the spoofs shall certainly continue, and the epiphanic moments of “I hate marriage and everything social” shall also continue (although in lesser frequency – hopefully)

Here’s wishing the assholes and uneccesary comments disappear! Hmm, strangely, ever since I changed my blogger name – they have!! Seriously, what’s in a blogger name? πŸ˜›

To honour this lowely blog of mine, I have decided to come up with some highly traumatic awards, based on real metrics. (yes I HAVE learnt something at work!) I have also decided to NOT write a post on why this blog is called ‘Total Trauma’ (those who know it, know it – those who don’t..too bad)

Let the ceremony begin

  1. Most read blogpost: Very Naughty Nursery Rhymes – I believe this gets me a hit a day. Yay! I also updated it just today.
  2. Most favoritest blogpost: Goodbye, Hello
  3. Most celebrated celebrity: Himesh Reshamiyya!
  4. Most searched sad story: Reena Virk
  5. Most commented blogpost: Pick Up Lines (41 comments)
  6. Long deestance fraansheeps: fondfire ❀ ❀ ❀
  7. Shorter distance fraaansheeps: frissko
  8. Blogger who gives me more attention than I deserve, by doing things like responding to my poyums by writing poyums for me: ąŝħĭŝħ
  9. Blogger I miss: autogato
  10. Blogger who missed getting the ‘your blog makes me see stars’ award post a blog-bath: the analog kid
  11. Bloggers I am to be liking – in my blogroll! If you’re not there – I don’t like you

And yes, I discovered – I love em bullets – bam bam!

The blogger formerly known as trauma queen

yupp – I have finally arrived.

A whole new me, a whole new world…

Nah – just a brand new template (that plays music) , and a new blogger name – but the stuff is just as before πŸ˜‰

Let’s just say I got a bit irritated with people taking my previous blogger name a bit too seriously. Truth is, the word “trauma” was a highly over-rated and over-used one when I was a student. That’s all! And to think of the number of people who have posted realllly mean comments just cos they didn’t like my blogger name 😑

Anyway – student life ended quite sometime back – plus I get bored of using the same name for too long (I started with calling myself tvnmcb – which expands to ‘the very naughty miss c.b’- a nickname a very naughty professor gave me :P)

In any case – my new blogger name seems a lot less mysterious/loaded than the previous names – plus it’s very me.

Hope all the doubts/questions/etc etc have finally been clarified.

Ab ke liye – masti timepass maja madi πŸ™‚
